Scenario - Business improvement in a manufacturing environment
If you are an industrial or manufacturing organisation this scenario will help you understand how the c4mbd Business
Improvement Programme works in your type of organisation.
Executive Overview
We work with you to form your Business Improvement Team
Phase 1: the team achieve a nationally recognised Health and Safety
qualification relevant to your organisation
In Phase 2 we (your team with us in support) search for potential improvements
in your business, and define the ‘problems’ that we identify
We then narrow the options to solving the problems we identified
The solutions are evaluated in Phase 3, and a written resource plan is made to
assist your management to make the
‘Go - No Go’ decision for implementation
During Phase 4 your organisation implements the improvements, with us still
supporting the Business Improvement Team
And finally in Phase 5 we measure the success!  This is the point your team
gains the nationally recognised, and prestigious, Business Improvements
Techniques qualification.
Sounds pretty straight forward doesn’t it!
The role of the Business Improvement Team is to seek out, define, and propose
solutions to problems; thus presenting your management team with the information
that they need to do their job... to improve the business.
So what’s unique about this programme?
In one programme you get... A focus on real business improvement leading to staff engagement, improved communication and
morale; a buzz which could be culture changing!
One programme which results in tangible business improvement, quantifiable success, and your own trained business improvement
team.
Advice not consultancy!
This is your programme, and we (c4mbd) are not consultants – we are creating value in your organisation for you to utilize.  You
and your management team will be fully involved throughout the programme ensuring your team is ready to implement the
improvements.
c4mbd have set ourselves three guiding principles to benefit you...
1.
We create a Business Improvement Team with you,
2.
Our aim is that you make a larger profit from the improvement than the cost of the programme,
3.
And that we leave a properly trained Business Improvement Team in place; a team that knows what success looks like!
These three principles are our mission statement.
